This week has been all about painting. I’ve been using my Duck Egg Blue ASCP on several projects and am always happy with the results. We’ve had low humidity here this week and that means it’s good spray painting weather! I’ve been spraying everything in sight! I’ve even spray painted a pair of shoes, turning them into “ruby slippers” for a showcase display at my daughter’s school. Can you guess what the school musical is this year?
I recently updated my turquoise & white pumpkins and turned them into ombre’ pumpkins. Using ASCP Duck Egg, Old White and a mixture of both to create the ombre’ effect.
I also came across this old basket while at a thrift store and thought it would look fab a different color. I settled on blue and it became part of the new dining room centerpiece.
I think I am going to add some dark wax to bring out the detail of the basket’s trim and handle.
I like this softer look for Fall paired with the dramatic zebra print runner. See last year’s turquoise and white centerpiece here. Now, off to find my dark wax…
Hope to see you at Stylish Friday Finds link party this week!
