This week promises to be a busy one, with more holiday decorating and shopping. I wanted to take a minute to share my Christmas mantle decor with you. The past few years I have used a deep red and silver theme. This year I wanted to try something new and really love how it turned out! Silver and gold together is a classic holiday combination and I think it suits my family room really well.
I spray painted the previously brown wire baskets a soft white and filled them with gold & silver balls. After adding some greenery and light up twigs they turned into show stoppers!
I like the soft look this color combo lends to the room.
Peeking around the “kids tree”.
I love these little mercury glass paint pots!
They look so great with the candlesticks.
Mercury glass balls that I collect adds a nice touch to the glass cocktail table.
This is the “cleanest” mantle I have ever done. Usually it’s filled with overflowing garland. I like the simplicity. The ornament wreath was so easy to make and was the inspiration for this mantle. Learn how to make this wreath here.
Wishing everyone a great week!
